The following is a list of fundraisers from the 2015-2016 school year:

Senior Auction/Quilt Auction: following a home volleyball game, Mike & Jan Schultz of Schultz Auctioneers donate their time and auctioneering skills to "sell" each of the Seniors to the highest bidder. The seniors provide two hours of labor to the individual who "buys" them. The class quilt, which the class made when they were in Kindergarten, is also auctioned to the highest bidder. Not only has this been a great way to raise money, it has been a lot of fun!

Homecoming Walk-A-Thon: each student is encouraged to ask for donations from friends and family for the DFS Walk-A-Thon. Then on Homecoming Friday, the entire student body takes a walk around Upsala to complete their service, and each high school class is paired with an elementary class while walking. Prizes are awarded for the top three fundraisers, as well as the top fundraising class.

Bake Sales: during fall conferences, the senior class donates and manages a bake sale in the commons, and during spring conferences, the junior class does the same.

50/50: Held at home certain games.  In the fall it will be held at a home football game.  The raffle winner receives 50% of the raffle ticket sales. The other 50% goes to DFS.

Chili Feed: a dining option before the HS basketball game. DFS hosts with volunteers donating pots of chili.

Pizza Ranch Benefit Night: a dining option at the local Pizza Ranch.  Volunteers and students help to bus tables..100% of tips and 10% of the buffet sold benefit Upsala DFS.

Free Throws at Halftime: at half time of home basketball games, the big kids shoot for a 3-pointer and the smaller kids shoot for a free throw, to win great prizes.

You've Been Cardinalled: Unsuspecting people wake up to find a Cardinal in their yard! A donation is made to the crazy looking birds, and the next day they can be found in someone else's yard.

Dunk Tank: Upsala Heritage Day is held the second Saturday in August each year, and the incoming Seniors manage the Dunk Tank in the City Park. Many well known local volunteers have donated their time to get dunked for DFS!
